Look Kid Poem by kai kaiser

Look Kid

The world is a great place
if you know where to look
Stray away from smoke filled allys
that fill your lungs with hate
Avoid swimming in pools full of privlage
that make life so prestigous you forget your past

The world is a great place
if you know where to look
Be nice to the homeless man
for he is somebody's child
Listen to the retired vets that speak warstories on rewind
show compassion to the naborhood drunk
His advice may save your life

The world is a great place
if you know where to look
but whatever you do
I beg of you please
Don't go down the path I did
Don't make the same mistakes as me

I hesitate to speak this
but it's too true to keep silent
but in the road of life
there are no streetlamps
so you never truly know
if you're on the right path
so you never truly know
if you're on the wrong path

But nomatter what happens
Never Loose Your Spark
