Look Around You Poem by David Self

Look Around You

To touch the grass to see the sand,
To walk along the broken ground.
To see the smiles and the blue sky,
Oh my word if I could fly.

To watch people talk, laugh and dance,
It's a sight to just keep you in a trance.
To chill to be free,
That's the life and it's key.

To see animals walking around the sound of the birds and the fish swimming around,
It's the peace and the quiet that makes it zen,
I could just close my eyes and float away.

Feeling free is nothing better,
Leave life behind and be stress free.
Don't let life control you,
Control it all way through.

We ain't here forever its a rented space,
Live make the most of the ppl and unhappy feeling leave no trace.

I'm here once and that's all,
Kick on be the best stand tall.
