Longing Poem by rosalinda flores rosevoc

Longing

Missing

I want to write in the sky
And send you a love letter.
I remember
Our cherished hours,
The magic of touch
The magic of names,
Binding myself pliant to your tongue.

I ask the winds from where you are
Wondering where your thoughts bring you
Is it with Moses or Joseph or Jesus?

I try to rest my burdens, too, to Him who promised us
Salvation
Crossing zones like a dream journey
Marveling at the solar eclipse this April
My fingers rise from the sea to your face.

I long for you every single day
I long for you every hour, every moment

On the chimes of cathedral bells
You are light glowing in the dark.
My fright of shadows has gone
In your sweet chant of worship
The smell of spring water, even
bending to your musk.

It has never been my wish to become a saint
Yet I long the solemn mystery of your cup
My trespasses are mounds of hills
But, ' Amen, ' I say, for all the graces
For an undeserved prize
I have got you in my heart.
In all the days of my life
I have never ceased being yours
The Lord's miracles prove true
The Lord's miracles abound now and forever!

Send O Lord, holy apostles into Your church!
