we have in the past done
these tiring terrible city commutes daily;
once I lived near airport
on the European side of the Bosporus in Istanbul;
worked on the Asian side
of the the Bosporus in Istanbul the other side of the city;
that long daily week day grind
a city on two continents I was a transcontinental worker;
sometimes 2 hours plus a half hour more or more,
getting home in peak rush hour traffic jam places;
beautiful views of city Istanbul, Bosporus continental divide,
being a transcontinental worker, but little time left after work;
I have suffered long commutes, in several jobs in different cities,
it becomes always a time grind; work work travel travel then sleep;
Yah. Its frustrating but there is always a silver lining. Our new coup enable military govt is averse to criticism. They put all sorts of laws to jail any one who criticizes vut in these traffic jams its as if people deliberately cause jams so they can go to town....pun intended...on the govt. We really let loose and enjoy ourselves. Two hours of freedom. Hmmmmm....you have just inspired a poem. Thanks Bard.

I would like to translate this poem
A very hectic, grueling but inspiring and exciting routine is recalled here. I too had a similar experience in my own country with same amount of time spent and traffic encountered while commuting to and fro. History may not record such individual contributions but their value and importance cannot be diminished. Thanks a lot.
