Lonesome Road Blues Poem by Dorukhan Baris Oguzcan

Lonesome Road Blues

The night is heavy, moon is hanging low, I walk this lonesome road, ain't nowhere to stay. My shadow whispers, tells me all I know, Love packed its bags, took the dawn away.

The wind keeps cryin', hums a tired tune, Ain't got no mercy, ain't got no grace. Heart's like a guitar, played outta tune, Every step I take leaves a hollow trace.

Oh, time keeps rollin', don't wait on me, Got rust in my bones, got rain in my soul. Ain't no redemption, ain't no reprieve, Just a broken man with no control.

The blues don't heal, they just keep me warm, Like a fire that burns but won't transform.
