Lonely Stars In The Midnight Sky! Poem by Denis Martindale

Lonely Stars In The Midnight Sky!

In velvet tapestries of night, where dreams and shadows blend,
Each solitary star takes flight, still glowing without end.
Within each galaxy's grand dance, each holds its lonesome place,
As beacons in God's vast expanse, still longing for embrace.

Their lights, like whispers in the dark, seek friendships far and wide,
But silence echoes through each spark, through cosmic waves that glide.
Each watches worlds and wonders pass, with envy in each gleam,
Like mirrors of surpassing glass, reflections of a dream.

The aeons drift on silver streams, God's boundless sea of space,
The stars, like keepers of lost dreams, await their warm embrace.
Though lonely in each night's domain, their spirits won't resign,
For in each heart, through joy and pain, eternal hopes align.

Lonely stars in the midnight sky are gems of silent grace.
With steadfast light, each will defy their solitude to face.
They overcome nights cold and long! Their brilliance will endure!
Testament to the cosmic song of lonely hearts made pure!
