Lonely Destiny Poem by Nidhi Agrawal

Lonely Destiny

Rating: 5.0

Grey overcast skies,
flickering yellow lights
I stare at the busy city life
People everywhere, going on their way
Some hurrying past, some at their own pace
All with a home,
Someone to call their own
Am I the only one standing all alone
No one to hold me tight
And kiss me goodnight
No one to wait for me
None by my side
In a forest of busy friends
have I to fend for myself
all alone, for all my life.

I stare at the busy city life All with a home, Someone to call their own Am I the only one standing all alone No one to kiss, hold tight, in the forest of human beings, i am all alone. Sad poem. But we all experience that. The best way is to smile and give love. Even when we are not pretty or handsome, our smile may attract people. The purity of our hearts will attract others. This is my experience. Be bold, face the loneliness and you shall conquer your loneliness. Believe in God. Tony. God bless u dear poetess.
