Lonely Poem by Ashley Dowdy (Forbus)

Lonely

Rating: 5.0

it is dark beneath her lids, alone with her thought, she trys to pull out the knives
they are so deep within, it hurts to take them out just as much as it is to leave them in
shes a shadow of the girl she wants to be most, she dwells
a precious clam with the girl inside she used to knew so well
lonliness follows her to bed, she lets it in
til she falls asleep, its how its always been
once there was love
now its only me
