Lonely Comments

I really do know how this is. I have had this lonely feeling most of my life. Until recently nobody even cared if I lived or died, including my spouse. I have eaten alone, I have worked alone, even though I had co-workers, I walked alone, and I sang to myself songs that had meaning for me but no one else. I remember living in rooming houses and keeping my door bolted so no one could see my tears. I do have a few people in my life that actually care now, but I feel they came too late in my life to do any good...Lonely. For those of us that have been there, we know loneliness, we know abuse, we know what it is like to be ignored when we say someting. So for all of us that belong to the 'I Am Lonely Club' all I can say is...be strong because it is in our strength that we can heal. This is a very emotional poem of hurt, and it has a message for all of us. Help thy neighbor as thyself. Thank you for sharing. A 10+++++. Love & hugs, Barbara
