Roaming to find my filial roots.
Long begun this endless search,

A heart wrenching poem that came from the powerful pen of a prolific poetess, Valsa George. Her compassionate mind has aptly explored the cravings of a forlorn child and beautifully converted the wails of his wretched life into this profound poem. The poem gets full marks from me for the compassion it conveys to an orphan or abandoned child. My deep appreciation to the poetess for her motherly concern.

So touching, so brutally frank, the outpourings of heart sounding so real, whether imaginative or a true life story it matters little, what matters is the brilliant pen that wrote it. Outstanding write, dear poet.

Now I wander all day long, Across the dingy streets I lay forlorn, With hopes so bright and fancies wild, To see my mother emerge from the crowd, With hands outstretched to hug me once, And own me ever, this forsaken child! .....so moving. The importance of a mother is well executed. A brilliant piece of work really. Thanks for sharing. May God bless you.10

The loneliness and frustration felt by orphans abandoned at birth have always touched me. Glad you liked this poem and has sent it to your poem list! Thanks a lot Bri!

A poem that stands out for authentic feelings of a child who grew away from its mother. The child's search for reasons why the mother could not keep it, the feeling of disconnect even with company and care have been so well done with poignant artistry. Thanks poet, this one will ever be my favorite.

Even after changing trends, the fate of an orphan sorry forsaken child s so terrible! However this very child without holding her love would like to extend her / his love to their parents! Heart touching and awareness stirring poem dear Valsa Mam!
