I crack a smile when I look at you
I am lost for words when you smile at me
My day begins with an ‘hiyya' from you
And ends with you safely tucked in bed
I stay up at night hoping you miss me
When my phone buzzes, I wish that was you
I'm stung worse than I have ever been
This love bug bit where I could not reach
So I wait patiently by my phone
To take a dose of my antidote
If my knees grow weak, do not ever doubt
That my love neither rises nor sets
To you, I am one in men seeking love
But mine is a heart safely locked for you.
