I thoroughly enjoyed reading this poem. The details of the marriage of Ravan'a brothers and sister are not very well known to the general public. Meghnad was named after his cloud like sound or cry just after his birth. But Indrajit was the name he earned when he defeated Indra- known as Devadhidev or God of the gods in a battle. At the behest of Brahma, Meghnad freed Indra. The title Indrajit was conferred on him by Brahma.
