Live To Love, Love To Serve Poem by Parameswaran Nair Damodaran Nair

Live To Love, Love To Serve

Rating: 5.0

Thy love is streaming to me
To immerse in and tranquillise
My parched, fretting soul
Like the holy Ganges
That slithers down
The Himalayan peaks
To the scorched valley
Of cracked, thirsty soil
Before it merges with
Wilderness of the sea

Wow.... this small poem flows into my heart as the sacred Ganges is flowing down from the Himalayan peaks, cooling every nerve in me! A beautiful poem!

Thank you very much dear poetess Geeta for the comments and the evaluation. " Poetry is that emotional sublimity that flows down the Himalayan heights of our intellectual capability and subtle rationality"

Very well written, Great imageries..Flowing from the top to the bottom like river and becoming sea of vastness, that is indeed pure and unlimited love.10+++++

Beautiful expression of words. Indeed love is beautiful when reciprocated. It has the power to quench the thirsty souls.10++

Thank you Arzoo Mehek. Love is so much precious that its value is fixed when it is weighed and measured by the loved one...10
