Often we mourn for our past deeds and we become frightened of our future..we waste each and every present moment in thoughts of past and future.. If we live totally in the present moment with no fear, craving, sorrow and tension then life becomes a celebration.. Very nice senryu..10++👍

Live in the present! This is a principle laid down by all wise people. In my Reiki poem 6- six principles are practised - all of them emphasise- 'Just for today' A very good poem Kostas!

To continue, I take my inspiration from Sanskrit literature where solid facts of life and happenings are expressed beautifully in verses called shlokas, and that too in perfect meters called chhanda.

The contrast is beautifully shown. Yet, poets deal with the memories, the past. They also deal with the dreams and desires, the morrow. Where's the present in poet's life? Perhaps when he says something on the happening, the present moment, laughs with it. These are hard facts hard to pen-portrait into poetry. But we can try. contd

This poem resonates with me. We have to live in the present and let go of the past. Yet, we have to consider the past too to guide us in framing our future. A wonderful Senryu.
