Live In Harmony Poem by Rini Shibu

Live In Harmony

Rating: 5.0

Not able to walk safely on the streets
Not able to sleep safely on our bed
Not able to go for work and schools
Bomb blasts and gun shots everywhere.

People suffering from horrible atrocities
Houses were looted, many decapitated
Families displaced in fear of terrorist
Militants captured their houses and land.

A group of people stirring hatred
Imposing their ideology among youngsters
Misguiding people with radical fundamentalism
And spreading territory across the world.

Stop extremism based on beliefs
Stop this violence and killing innocents
Love one another and live in harmony
Let peace and joy dwell in every heart.

A great ode to peace and global coexistence, Rini. Very sensible. Real and ethical teachings need to be spread around the world. Every community should sing the same song, the song of peace and prosperity. Thanks dear for the nicely penned poem. 10+++ for it.

Hi rini, Your poem exhorts to hate hatred. Let us hate the hatred, but, as Jesus Said, let us learn to love the perpetrators of hatred and convert them... Lovely write..
