Little Things © Poem by Roann Mendriq

Little Things ©

Just a few drops of water,
helps a baby bud to bloom;
A tiny little candle flame,
dispels darkening gloom.

Just one little sunbeam,
warms a rain washed earth;
One distant birdsong,
heralds Spring's new birth.

Just one little grain of sand,
adds on to make a shore;
One wispy breath of wind,
can cause the breeze to blow.

These gentle little acts, may take a little while,
But you brighten up my life, with your cheery little smile...!
