Little Hearts Poem by Eli Spivakovsky

Little Hearts

Little hearts in a stream
all
flow
to you
across the flume
a parakeet tree
releases her children
they
flank me
over the bridge
and laughing gallahs gather on the path
I walk in love with love
He lives on the other side of the street
on the other side of the city
on the other side of earth
I can hear you
creaking
through the screen
I can hear you
talk without speaking
I can hear
our
hearts beating in time
I want to touch you
I want to feel your hands on me
I want to see your euyes with mine
watch our pupils expand....
