Little Bird Poem by Shaun Cronick

Little Bird

Rating: 5.0

I'm just a little bird,
That you have often heard,
In the woodlands in Spring!
I'm not so very big,
I hide beneath a twig,
But how I can sing!

My feathers are so fine,
This warm coat is simply mine,
I do not want a thing!
I do my little bit,
And joyfully I flit,
But how I can sing!

And when an Autumn's day,
Gets chilly, I fly away,
To warm lands, where I bring,
To other people my song,
To help the world along.
Oh how I can sing!

A lovely poem. So mellifluous when read. Beautifully written.

Rose Marie Juan-Austin I thank you for taking your time to read and comment. You the gifted poet who wrote the incredible Just A Wink Of An Eye poem with it's brilliant prose. I cherish any comment from your good self. And I thank you again.
