Wow, what an amazing poem about separation and loss! The little bird enraptured my mind, gave me joy for the moment, and then as with all life it was gone - taken by death itself from your beautiful poem Touched my heart with a joyful sadness, then that too expired. Great poem! 10 - 10's if possible! RoseAnn
Swimming in the sea of separation and sadness yet souring above the stars of significance!
ohh such a touchy poem, , , the initial paragraphs brought thrill about the tiny bird and its song but eventually it fluttering to the ground was indeed a gloomy end. Very well written Valerie......loved it
A lovely poem and so very touching. The little bird represents the fragility of life as Diane Hine feels or is it representative of hope which dies and rekindles again and again.
So beautiful, so touching. Things of beauty are not a joy forever. We have to enjoy them in the moment because the very next moment they may be gone for ever. Luckily our great Creator created so many things of beauty in the sky in the seas and here on earth, that the very next thing of supreme beauty is never far away from us.
Little bird is really wonder in creation of God. With plumage of brightness little bird teaches many more things. Very nice job and excellent poem shared in forum.
A wonderful poem, sometimes life seems so wrong, but one day the bird will once again sing.
Little bird, be there forever in our sight. We are at a loss without you. A heart-rending poem of great beauty. Thank you.
So sad that the little bird is dead now! The effect you have created is touching and Val, you and nature have a great bond and you are asserting that fact again and again. I am giving a 10 here..
With a beautiful charm you have written such a beautiful poem, that little bird touched your heart with the sweetest sound so pure in a world that is so flawed. When the little bird died hope for the world died too! !
A superfluous beauty of nature, birds early songs allures me ..I used to wake my son Aghaz to listen the song so that he may sing for humanity..thank you
A beautiful poem indeed about the sweet bird that meets its end. Very well crafted and flow is amazing. Enjoyed.
