Yes, silence is golden - and safe. Kisses are not so safe but much more positive! x Jan

lips...they pair off...kiss...and make love. they pair off...spit words...at times mar love. so i can not hail lips. but i do hail the wisdom kiss that surges out pairing off the lines here...

Lips stretch out under a strawberry moon, kisses unfold like deep sea creatures, and a little finger points the way....

This poem reads like a recipe - a list of ingredients, each worth enjoying on its own, but when stirred together, creating something greater than the sum of its parts. There is mystery and magic and much tenderness in your poem. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Oh I love 'the secret code' of your poems and the thrill of deciphering their 'kiss.' Lips pairing off under the finger of God and being told to go forth and multiply! Hypnotically good! I must go now and...pair off! love Dee Dee

Fascinating imagery...I just love a kiss being a scarlet code to be deciphered and lips paring off to make love. Extraordinary imagery that captures the ordinary in such a beautifully startling way...as if a Magrite and a De Chirico were having a chat in an art gallery after dark when all the humans had left and it was just the paintings talking. As if all the surreal images just climbed out of their respective paintings and stretched their legs and found a bar still open called ONELIA'S and they just dropped in for one for the road and never left and ended up becoming your poem or dreampt forever of deciphering that scarlet code as the road of their dreams drifted like smoke above their shoulder. love Donall Donall

Thesis/antithesis of lips paired to synthesise an act of love... You move with serenity from words to kisses and capture a Godlike avatar. Intriguing! Rgds, Ivan

I love how you sum up all those feelings and issues! Sometimes lips speak and hurt but they also have the ability to heal, as is shown here. Lovely penning One! HG: -) xx
