Yet, I see some Tulips and daffodils In their vibrant hues Bravely poke their way out In the lingering snow. Winter's grasp On spring Just would not let go..........haunting and touching expression. These lines are much impressive for me. A brilliant poem on spring is nicely executed.

As much as possible, an independent nation should not rely on dole outs of other nations. It should stand on its own feet. It has its own resources, human and natural. Thank you for your visit and time.

This year is peculiar, lingering snow in spring. I loved how you mentioned: Yet, I see some Tulips and daffodils In their vibrant hues Bravely poke their way out - beautifully expressed.

Lingering snow/Deters the plants to grow/Birds nestled on their nests/And hope their eggs/Will not perish/From the winter freeze…..fabulous expression! I like the way you have described the Lingering Snow! Pleasure rereading it!

This is a very strange spring so far here where I live. Fortunately we have not been buried under snow- -but it sure is difficult to go out and garden in daily howling winds! ! Thank goodness flowers are sturdier than they look!

Spring season is beautiful and we all feel this season very much. By touch of light snow melts and clear weather is very clearly visible to all of us. We see many flowers remain alive. This poem is nice and revisiting this we feel happy...

Wow this is just too wonderful, how spring signs bursts out despite winters grasp, how u painted it in words soo cleverly and marvellously poetic. I find winter exotic, so Philippines has snow, ah send some here to our hot place dear. Kudos. Pleez do write your thoughts under my newest poem too, titled, dark skinned vs fair skin, I would love to hear your views

Beautiful write! This poem captures that in-between time waiting for spring to arrive. It is said though that a late blooming flower is often the most lovely to behold.
