There are some parts of the poem which are not totally clear for me, but clear enough! The spinster should have carried a government ID at all times. One one wish to be married? : ) bri
(cont.) I no longer believe in ANY GOD, but being 'helpless' is a wise way for any god [[ who is supposed to be SO GREAT ]] to excuse its/her/his supposed-responsibility for YOU, ME, and all OTHERS. : )
The ending is surprising, mysterious, and enlightening. I've never heard that 'god' is sometimes 'helpless'! ! BUT I don't doubt it! ! ! (cont.)
