Despite age, position, and experience,
No one has a monopoly on wisdom
Or the solution to all human problems.
To act omniscient and all-capable is either
a romantic lie or an insidious pretense.
The world is older and bigger than you.
And it will progressively deteriorate till it
crumbles on its own weight. Unless it's
safely demolished and rebuilt anew,
it can't be changed. Men can bring it
to ashes but only God recreate it.
Recognize your limitations
And capitalize on your possibilities.
Many claim responsibilities for burdens
That even God won't put on their shoulders.
You can't change the world,
but you can rise above it.
Know what you can and cannot do.
You cant carry the whole world,
on your shoulders and move an inch.
Only God is big enough to carry
the weight of the whole world
in His shoulders and still not burn out.
All you can do is carry your own cross
And a few extra burdens proportional
to the strength bestowed on you
and the practical experience
gathered over time.
That is what's expected of you.
