I find writing humor to be the most difficult write. I can bring you to your knees crying, I can scare the ever-loving stuffing out of you, but can I dependably make you laugh? ? It's a roll of the dice. Great poem about this situation.
I totally agree with your clever limerick subject Valsa, Sometimes our words that are meant to be light or humorous can backfire and offend. Additionally, I loved your note under your poem. I definitely have to be in the right mood to write otherwise it doesn't happen.
