(limerick) The Rest Of The Story Comments

You know I always think that when I watch horse racing. Jockeys never win races unless the horse throws them over its head as they reach the finish. Then they are probably disqualified! Poor horses. They never get the champagne and oysters or beer. your poem made me laugh and cry.

The horse never gets any credit. : -)

Very funny! By the way, he did not shout The British are coming! because the colonists considered themselves British. He could have shouted The Regulars are coming! or perhaps The Redcoats are coming!
