Son's allowance now carefully weigh
Be not over-generous, pray
But keep something out
To bail out the lout
A felicitous thought for the day

I got ten cents a week if I did all my chores. I saved it all for over 2 years to buy my mom a denture cup when I was 11. She laughed and cried so hard at the same time, that her dentures popped out. : -) (True!)

I hope they landed in the cup! I laughed at this story, too. Luckily I have no dentures to pop out!
