You say you wrote this poem I just read?
All by yourself, isn't that what you said?
It's a great tale of woe;
I'm pleased to meet you, Poe.
All these years that I thought you were dead!
I'm glad you explained the title. I was confused. Kelly Kurt's titles are exotic too.
I myself am a constant plagiarist inasmuch as I take old jokes and reproduce them in limerick form. It is what I do. It would appear to be a quite legitimate form of entertainment. A refinement of everybody's Joe Miller Joke Book A curious financial success is the multiple sales of Milton Berle Joke books, mostly freely admitted to be stolen..
I don't have a Joe Miller Joke book (never heard of him) , but I too have taken old jokes and turned them into poems. As a matter of fact, this is one of them!
Unlimited fun this poem gives. The great tale of Woe is amazing really. Meeting Poe is expressive. Wise humorous poem is cleverly presented.10
