Valsa, this goes straight to myfavourites. You capture something about inspiration. It really does arrive at the most undesirable of times, at times. How often do we dream the right words, see them in our sleep, only to find they have vanished, evaporated, with the rising of the sun? Too often....
This happens to me too, too often! I mentally compose many a poem in bed before going to sleep, only to find them vanished totally in the morning! Too bad, my wife wouldn't allow me to put the lights on, to scribble down whatever I had in mind!
Very wonderfully you have crafted this Limerick having fun and interesting words. I appreciated this poem. Thank you madam for sharing here.
With rhymes, you put some here to stay with the poem.... Wonderful as most of us surely have similar experience, we have thoughts, we might be busy and lazy to bring it alive, as we aleep it gone along the dark surrounding when the sun wakes us... Nice!
Trying to capture emotion and motion we can try to motivate life with greater beauty. This is very nice poem of course shared.
That is the way they play with us. Enjoyed the humor inside. A good limerick 10+

How sweet 'At night, ... rhymes keep coming'. The graphic detail given in the poem brings about interesting images to a reader's mind. Thanks for sharing this amusing limerick.
Beautiful poem and it is real. Such thoughts, during such times when I gather and cant write, I used to place them in several shelves in my mind but they are misplaced the next day I go for them.
