Limerick - Ingratitude Poem by Vaibhav Simha

Limerick - Ingratitude

Rating: 5.0

John's a man known to be burly and sick;
Thought many that he is bound to the nick.
To elude the law, he prayed to the Lord,
"Quickly save me, God! " he shamelessly roared,
So the Almighty sent him flying with a kick!

Your limerick is pretty good, it being your first attempt! But a conventional limerick has a specified syllable count. Your rhyming is perfect! Please google search the specifications for a limerick and find out!
