Part 2. Your sense of fun and gaiety just sparkles in this piece! ! There does not seem to be any form or tone or topic that you cannot do and do with expertise! ! 10+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
PART ONE> hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa. I am forever being amazed at you, dear friend! ! ! ! ! ! I have never liked limericks until I met yours. I really only like your limericks with a few- very few- exceptions from one other writer here on PH. I definitely enjoy yours more than his.
Susan, I don't know how much of enthusiasm you have instilled in me with this wonderful comment. I am so thankful to you! I try to observe the rules when I write a limerick and if possible bring some hilarity into it! Actually I am not that humorous by nature, but try to be humorous! However it needs a big heart to applaud someone like this and once more I express my gratitude!
Unfortunately the husband is concern abt his car not his wife 's life...you point out this through your beautiful funny & lemerick. Loved it. :)
Ha! Thanks for the laugh! Reminds me of the old definition of mixed emotions: when a man watches his mother-in-law drive his new car over a cliff...
Think of the car! Valsa, I think there is a profound underlying message here. The wife, may at one time, have been seduced by the money, wealth, and status. Over time, these elements become the noose from which one seeks a reprieve....any kind of escape. A brilliant poem is one that can be seen as comedy or tragedy, or both. This is brilliant, Valsa.
This great limerick captures perfectly the sad reality of a materialistic society, induced by Media, and other tools of mass-manipulation, and brainwashing.
Ha ha ha... a good laugh in the morning! I wonder who is more dumb, the wife or the hubby. A perfect limerick that gets a 10 from me. A befitting graphic too.
Hahaha! great to read this Limerick. thank you so much Valsa for sharing.
Thank you very much for clarifying the poem's theme. Now I understand this clearly. For damaging of car and losing money the husband is worried. I cannot stop smiling large. Ha..Ha.Ha...ha..ha..ha..This is truly fun giving Limerick.
Unfortunately he has given greater priority to his car than his wife! Thank you once again Kumaramani sir!
Cartoons, jokes, limericks might exaggerate, but behind all them is a relevant message.
You have brilliantly penned this poem which expresses the materialistic life of extravagant life-style and this is very fun giving. This says that money does not give real happiness and does not remove stress. Husband motivates his wife to show car and money to have wealthy life but still wife plans to jump from the building. She should not jump and all should live happily. This is excellent Limerick...`10
Sorry sir, you didn't get it in the right sense......! The husband is not worried about his wife's attempt of suicide, he is more concerned about the damage to their car if she falls right on top of it from the high rise building...and thereby the money he will lose!
Interesting limerick that does make me smile.....possibly the wife is obese.....she can not damage the car by her foolish act....humorous poem 10
Yes, so she could delay her jump and argue on his meanness. Otherwise, life filled with humor. Nice poem
