(limerick)father, Dear Father

Rating: 5.0

(limerick)Father, Dear Father

When asked what his father did for a living,
by his teacher, Lee replied: "He's a towel
boy in a whore house." This distressed his
teacher and she contacted his father. "Even
if it's true it's not the sort of thing you
should tell a child."

"I'm so sorry Miss Brown, but you see
I'm no towel boy in reali-tee...
But sometimes the truth
Should be kept in a booth
I'm a lawyer, Respected by Lee."

Ha! Better to tell such a lie than to have the boy discover the awful truth, that his father is a lawyer!
