((Limerick) Early Days With Oogie # 69
The boys are still moving along
But maybe towards a swan song
The strip still is moving
But without approving
They wonder what they're doing wrong
This is the biggest shame of the twenty-first century, that this strip has not been recognized and snapped up for national syndication!
i think Kelly's right there but I can't think why Wes's work hasn't been published. His Oogie is far better than any comic strip in our newspapers. Maybe we should all try to become " Celebrities" first then publishers will be queueing at the door!
apparently you have to know somebody at any rate I was never a businessman
I'm sure that many artists (and poets) find succor in what is said in the second panel.
