(limerick) Daylight Saving Time (not)

A misnomer is what we allow
'Cause you cannot save time. That I vow.
Nor try as you may,
The light of the day.
And there's no place for storing them... chow!

Benjamin Franklin reportedly invented DST. His other inventions were good, but I have never understood nor liked this one!

I like all sorts of indiidual experiences. I have just grown to not 'like' 5+ months of cold and inert. Halloween can be fun, but is the first fourth of the beginning of more than two fifth's the year.: -) If the ghouls are out then; enjoy!

I hope this antiquated practice comes to an end sometime soon. No one has ever earned any interest on those 'savings.'

You're right. I wish they would stop the nonsense, too. It's like cutting a piece off of one end of a blanket and then sewing it onto the other end!
