I miss you, Wes, and tha's a fac', but I know you'll never come back!
Loveliest colours but true sad they must live caged, but on the other hand sweetest to keep.
Finally, after eight days since I posted my first poem, Poem Hunter has allowed them to be activated. I have six poems, three of which are limericks. My latest is " The Doctor's Verdict" , just posted a few minutes ago and already it shows up. Yippee!
A very pretty bird, and he seems to be reading the newspaper on the bottom of his cage!
from Google: Does my bird need gravel or grit? Budgies do not need gravel or grit because they remove the outer hull of the seed before ingesting the kernel.... However, now we know that only birds like pigeons and doves that consume seeds whole, without removing the outer hull, need gravel to help them digest.
I've never owned a budgie; I'm sure I never will. I just feed birds that live outside and watch them from my sill!
Wes, we mish you and wish you were still active on Poem Hunter! This, your last poem here, posted more than three years ago, still shows up on the PH Top Member Poem list at number 100 today!
