Enjoyed your limerick Roop! The fun is enhanced by the play of words. But as Kelly has rightly said.... a conventional limerick has a special rhyme scheme. If we strictly follow it, we often feel a real constraint.... the rhyme scheme is a little different from what Kelly has instructed...! I am taught that the first two lines and the last one should rhyme and should be between..7 to 10 syllables and the third and fourth line should also rhyme and should not exceed 7 syllables!

I found it very funny, Roop. Limericks should have lines,1,2 & 5 rhyme And lines 3 & 4 rhyme. The syllable count is usually; 9 9 6 6 9 But I have no problems with developing a personal style. I enjoyed this! Peace
