Oh! Hope and the spirit of adventure both crushed under the wheels of time. A poignant poem.

The piece reminded me of the cruel fate of well-fed rats crushed by cars in Johannesburg on daily basis. A well articulated and nicely encapsulated poem. Thanks for sharing Valsa.

A frog that longed to go beyond.....Being mortal as we all long to belong to this earth, even a frog too yet meets its Waterloo, oh what a poignancy while hopping to hope of tomorrow, what a brilliant write by ingenuity of thought, and really unique imagination portraying the lurid demise of a frog, and what a compassion and kindness...thanks for sharing..
Perils of migration. I am reminded of man's migration from the African continents to colonize the world and the perils involved in that endeavor.
