it sounds like a nice outing for father and son. i did not understand the use of mike. then i found this 'British' [dated and informal] definition online at English Oxford Living Dictionaries (thanks, Google!) : noun British dated, informal A period of idleness. ...in U.S. mike would mean microphone, if not capitalized. bri :)
