Superbly constructed and beautifully written. Thank you for sharing this. I know of Lilith my late mother taught me. My magnificent teacher and she would have enjoyed reading your beautiful poem. So I thank you from myself and my late mother. Take care.

We all fall from grace from time to time. We get to climb back up, perhaps not so for Lilith. I loved the gentle cadence of rhyme that permeats this dark allegorical poem.

This is a classical style with some nice use of older language to give that character as with the use of repetition drawing the reader from the beginning to the closure to reinforce the sentiment and air or other worldliness, spiritual.
