Whenever I think of typewriters now, I think of Woody Allen's great collection.
And the fact that typewriter collections actually have to be insured these days, , , , How the world has changed! Thanks for reading, Richard.
'and i got confused with somebody else I was thinking about something before I got distracted' ------------------------------------ Old age is (sometimes) 'like that'! ;) bri
How to compose a poetry is well executed in this poem with its observation, realisation and reflection of mind. Beautiful poem really. Thanks for sharing. Five stars.
Thank you so much, Valsa. It really is amazing how so much happens just like that. I sense we are seeing things like that so frequently under these different circumstances.
When poems come to our mind we need to jot it down here and there in whatever means available. If we look for a type writer, we are reminded that we live in a computer age and not in the age of crude contraptions. We can even jot down our feelings in the pavement or on the walls of a building or in bits of paper! What is important is to trap the words before they fly off! There is no specific way to write down a poem..... It happens just like that! So well composed in your unique style, Lemon!
Words or some other things, but yes, observations and sufferings are in the background of any decent communication. And your poem is very nice.
Enjoyed the heck out of this stream of consciousness poem! ! ! ! ! Your mind is a fascinating playground - no wonder your topics are so varied and your meanings are so intense and your humor is so catching! ! ! Let us know when the chalk is coming out- I have to see that! ! ! 10+++ because you are so novel and fun and cryptic like that!
what I think or believe that's right what you think or believe what s/he thinks or believes right, all are right in own ground not that is 6 or not that is 9 just a number but opposite ground shows different what is truth or what is wrong I do not know but in present time, pot and activity I find out my self i do not wanna defame others I do not wanna object on any belief or thinking all are like that or all are not like that
Thank you Richard and Patrick! Richard- That happens almost on a daily basis! As long as the good ideas stay. And Kevin- Finding something after years, - -just like discovering a new author!
Sometimes we think we got a great idea, and just like that, it vanishes. Another one comes along, and it too vanishes. And when we give up thinking about those great ideas...what happens? The better ones come along...and we record them for posterity. Another winner, M.J....just like that!
Never wrote a poem on a type writer, but I just scrabble stuff on my phone in my notes, pieces of paper, in fact I think I have verses tucked here and there on every pad and loose paper somewhere in my house, some I haven't seen in years! Great stream of conscious M.J. the art of observation.
we all like that when jokes fall flat or rise upwards from Ones hat urs fliers highers MJL
now I like that....well set poetic decor and the conclusion
I liked this poem and the title too. Simple and clear expression.....5 stars.
Many thanks, Dillip. Much appreciated.
