Like Something God Would Say. Poem by Charles Karia

Like Something God Would Say.

The wisdom was crisp and and gay,
Like something God would say-
Like how the Almightyaids,
Those who first meet own needs.

But did God really say it?
Isn't this poison from the pit-
That all paths pious and solemn,
Will ultimately lead to him.

Welcome to the land of ceaseless abandon,
One word of God spices, many opinionsmen,
Then the couldron is mixed and served,
As a righteous thing that the lord said.

All words untrue, though to God ascribed-
Those crafty prophesies man made,
And also that encouraging ameeeeen!
To the pit will they lead, many offsprings of men
