Lovely write! The Siberian birds, to escape the bite of winter, come to warmer climates for an interim and fly back! Here I wonder if the bird is a metaphor! Someone came to share the warmth of your heart for sometime and left, leaving you lonely and love sick!
Thank you Valsa, for the thoughtful comment. The bird is of course a metaphor here, although the 'I' in the poem could be someone that I know.
