Like An Orchestra Poem by Nathy Chabangu

Like An Orchestra

Like an orchestra, I'll compose delightful tones in your presence
Like a poet I'll manipulate words to blissfully describe your smile
Like a sculptor I have carved out your black toned behind
Like a worthy sculptor I have shaped out our future into perfection
And like the greatest magician of our generation,
I have embedded our names in the future.
I will use metaphors to outline how shining stars can never compare to the
Light you bring to my life.
Oh how they thought the beautiful ones have already been taken,
Wow, how wrong were they, I have since found a gem hidden so deep that not even a deep originating earth shift could unearth
A gem that tells a story of its deep seated origin, an origin perfected time immemorial
The moral of my story seeks to address beauty that has never regressed
