Like a dream II - a poem by Andrew W K Yip
Like a dream, vague visions began to unfold,
With flashes of familiar faces in places dark and cold.
Then pain came in; she pried through bedroom windows,
Hiding with hostile figures, shrouded in shadows.
Take, oh, take those dark dreams away,
They're just illusory images gone astray.
But grief and grievances even lurk again;
Like a dream, piles of the wreckage still remain.
