Impending consequences witnessed from heaven will be forthcoming
The immunity of a chosen few defies logic and reason
The onlooking victims were bystanders of atrocities
initiated from resources inhumane and reeking of treason.

I made a copy of your poem so I can re-read it at leisure. But here are some initial comments: Just before the halfway point, I found lines that pulled me in. eg. TO PROGRESS OUR REVOLUTION WITHOUT POLARITY. Revolution is about r-a-d-i-c-a-l change - heady stuff - but you frame it with two positive phrases: first, TO PROGRESS that will be the first test for the revolutionaries, namely, are they moving us forward? Is their progress genuine? are they assessing their leadership impartially? // On the other side, we read WITHOUT POLARITY: This is so important, otherwise a successful Revolution results in a ruinous Civil War. What patience and mutual respect are required, and also humility. These are the virtues of a revolutionary situation, the sort that Danton embodied in the French Revolution but he was outmanuevered by Robespierre who argued for the killing of people he considered unworthy of the New Order. In your poem you are braced to prevent that from happening. And I admire your awareness of an ANIMATING EVOLUTION to parallel, and restrain the Revolution from devouring its own citizens. I'm coming back to this poem tomorrow to deal with your prediction of: IN PEACE WE WILL REVEL (How refreshing in a rervolutionary context) .

Hi Daniel, Thank you for awareness of my careful and miticulous word choice. I wrote a piece called Suite for Danton's Tod and the soloist is the Blood Messiah Robespiere. The language is German but you can hear it at my website. The text is written by Georg Buechner. Warmest greetings, Paul
