Tara~ This poem had some great imagery in it & I must admit, I am very fond of lightning bugs; o) My favorite image in the poem is, 'I will blow a kiss to ride the skipping wind'. There is such a magical quality to it! I am in agreement with Linda, I too took this poem to represent 'lightning bugs' touching lives for a brief, yet magical moment and then passing by to greet another moment. Can't wait to read more! ! ! :) ~Courtney

Well, Gina and I seem to be on the same track, appreciating your work, but I saw a different slant on this one. I saw those 'lightning bugs' who touch our lives, give us light for such a short time, and then go to join the other light givers to light up my night. God Bless all light givers, including Tara Crown.

Comic opening leading to a touching portrayal of care from man to beast (more or less!) . I've enjoyed this, Tara, and in general I think your writing rocks. I've already thanked Linda Treat for leading me to you. With warmth, Gina.
