Lightening Boy Poem by Samantha Stough

Lightening Boy

Even stranger yet
How the lighting came before the thunder
There was no warning for the sweet chaos you’d beget
Oh, how my wall did sunder

A smile good enough to make me cry
The mere sight that makes me sing
A heart that beats ever faster
The secret hope that becomes my everything
