The light is going away
my eyes dim each day
There are no stars tonight
All behind floating clouds hide
the only Pole Star
attracts my sight
yes it still does direct me aright
A mariner I could have been
A Pilot of my dreams
Roamed about jungles only
The Far East
(Vietnam)
Nerves gave way
in abject loneliness
Now I can't see
the object of my existence
Come O Lord
Who so ever
You could be
take me
with glee
There are no stars tonight, We will keep you alive........fine. anjandev roy.

I would like to translate this poem
The light of eyes fades, and it does always in old age, but the a poet's inner vision is still there, as you said with the words: MY MIND'S IMAGERY.
