Soul, there is a tradition in various parts of the world in which the birthday person doesn't receive gifts, but rather, gives them to his/her friends. I see that you are part of that tradition. In addition to your friendship, you have given us these two gifts. Firstly, this beautiful heart-felt poem which speaks multitudes. And secondly, acknowledgement of our friendships. I am honoured and humbled to be included in this circle of poets who are so gifted and compassionate. May the circle never be broken! And may we all continue to share our poems with each other and provide support and encouragement. May you forever remain blessed, Soul. You are truly one of a kind!
Here there is no tradition like dear, at least so far as i observed... it just i think birthday is a anniversary of we having first day in this life, this dimension...so supposedly we should be thankful to God, parents who raised us and whoever make us stronger person and make our life so beautiful...when i am thinking of that, i feel that i should give express my thankful and giving my heart out to each person that comes along to my life journey and polished me to be better day by day...And when i wrote down i might missed someone but i dont mean it, sorry for i cant put it here...But to my greatest companion now and past, thanks for everything...your name all written on my heart's wall... :) Thanks Richard for being my good friend :)

Wonderful poem, Soul. A wonderful friendship to celebrate. While reading through the names, it brought back so many memories to friendships we enjoyed throughout the years. Some of the friendships here on this site, I have experienced as soul-friends, more sometimes than my friends in my daily life. So true, Soul, the light gets magnified, it works both ways. Thank you dear Hans, I always treasure these friendships of mine...I dont know them personally, i dont need to interupt all things in their life, enough for me to feel the prestine of their souls, how our heart bridged by honesty, trust and kindness..i wont ask for other things, indeed i agree with you..i feel many friends here are more soul-linked to myself that some of my friend i've met in my life... because you all know my heart, the expression of my soul, in depth than just a hello and bye...and to have all of your beautiful minds here really healing, it lift my spirit when i am down, it cure my weakness when i need a strength, and because of that Thanks for magnifying my strength by your kind personality, positive poems and beautiful minds, what a lovely group of friends i have here...neverthesless i have lost some in time, but i owe them for in my life journey...Thanks All
