Light Blue Poem by Dean Meredith

Light Blue

Rating: 4.0

Someone added some colour
I think maybe it was you
It could have been some other
But it looked & tasted of you
Such a subtle touch of colour
It could have been some other
But I'm pretty sure it was you
It was only a hint a whisper
A pastel a watercolour
A clue a fingerprint of you
It could have been anyone
Maybe I'm just daydreaming
Fantasizing once again of you
Your soft and glorious subtle touch
I really like black and white
In photos and drawings I do
The contrasts of shade and shadow
The gaps of space and distance
Woman I love your light blue
Man I dig your perfect smudge
It draws me in and paints me
A real nice picture of you
