Life's Illusion Poem by Through Hazel Eyes

Life's Illusion

Nervously she waits to die
Hoping her life will pass her by

Someone must think she is so strong
Because she has survived for this long

Scared to put her needs above
By hurting the ones, she loves

She exists as life goes by each day
Their happiness is more important today
